I've had times when the people around me were doing things I’d call “great”. Hosting conferences and the like and sometimes, a certain feeling sets in.
That feeling of “ Omo… Am I even doing enough?”
There have been moments when I’ve compared my progress in life with that of others. And as you know, comparison, more often than not, leaves you feeling worse about yourself.
Listen, there’s something called being contented with Jesus. It goes beyond simply being satisfied with serving Him.
It means that even if where you are in life doesn’t look “big” to you, if that’s where God would have you be at this point in time, then you are more than fine with it.
"God cannot mismanage my life" isn’t just something we chant, it’s a reckoning.
It’s what you remind yourself of when you feel like you’re slipping into comparison:
“If this is where God has placed me, I’m fine with that, because I trust Him.”
Your definition of “doing big things” should align with God’s definition as it relates to your life.
I’m contented with Jesus, even when I don’t fully understand it.

To love,to hold,to know
The pace is fine, right and mine
